Permanent sanctuary
The Big Ask.
We are working toward a permanent sanctuary in Southern California and gathering information about possible land arrangements: lease, share, or donation.
Three ways to say yes
There is no wrong way to offer land — what matters is getting animals out of foster homes and into a stable, permanent place to heal.
Lease us land
Have acreage sitting idle? A long-term lease at fair or reduced rent gets animals off the fundraising timeline and into a real home faster.
Share your property
Shared-use arrangements — a portion of a ranch, farm, or lot — let us build out kennels and pasture space without owning the whole parcel.
Donate land outright
A direct land gift is tax-deductible and becomes the permanent, un-rentable foundation every foster-based rescue eventually needs.

How it works
You reach out
Tell us what you have in mind using the form below — even a rough idea is a great place to start.
We talk it through
A conversation about your property, timeline and what arrangement makes sense for you.
A site visit
We walk the land together and map out what a sanctuary build-out would realistically look like.
We put it in writing
A lease, shared-use agreement or donation is documented clearly, with your own advisor reviewing it too.
What matters to us
- Southern California location
- Legal access to water and reasonable zoning for animal housing
- Enough space for kennels, pasture and a pollinator garden
- A willingness to work through the details together
What you can expect from us
- A straightforward, no-pressure conversation
- Full transparency about what the land would be used for
- A documented agreement — nothing verbal or informal
- Ongoing communication once the arrangement begins
Why we are asking at all
Today, every animal in our care lives in a volunteer's home. That keeps our capacity tied to how many foster families we can recruit in a given month — a real ceiling on how many lives we can save.
A dedicated property changes that math: on-site intake, recovery space for medical cases, and room for the volunteer, education and bee-conservation programs we already run to grow under one roof.
Land questions
Not land, but still want to help?
A tax-deductible gift moves us closer to a lease or purchase just as directly as acreage does.
